Working with Nikola
From your request to the first night with your lights
Start with the free consultation button on this page. It opens our Jobber request form, so you can tell us about your outdoor lighting project before the visit.
If you would rather talk through it, call (234) 759-3333. We work out of Canfield, a Mahoning County city that is home to the Canfield Fairgrounds, and visit properties across Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia; the consultation happens at your home.
That visit is where we get to know what you want to light. A walkway and entryway, the trees around a patio, a Christmas display and a permanent roofline are different projects. We specialize in outdoor lighting, and your goals become the brief for the design.
We then present the lighting layout with good, better and best options and their pricing. You can look at the plan before we agree on the design, sign the contract and schedule installation.
The last visit is after dark. We walk through the installed lighting with you and check it against the design you chose.
The night walkthrough is part of our six-step process, after installation, so you see the result at the time you will use it. For a landscape lighting installation, our workmanship warranty is 24 months.

What does Nikola Landscape Lighting install?
Outdoor lighting is the only thing we do. That covers low-voltage LED landscape lighting, Gemstone permanent holiday lighting on the roofline, and seasonal Christmas lighting that we put up, take down and store for you. We also service and repair landscape lighting systems.
Which towns does Nikola work in?
We are based in Canfield, Ohio, and the service area reaches into the Pittsburgh suburbs and northern West Virginia. The towns with their own pages on this site include Boardman, Youngstown, Akron, Cranberry Township, Fox Chapel, Morgantown and Wheeling.
How is a lighting project priced?
There is no price list. Each landscape lighting job is designed for the property after a free on-site consultation, and you see the exact figure before any work starts. For a season of Christmas lighting, most homeowners spend roughly $800 to $2,000 with us.
What happens after I send a request?
Luke, the owner, calls you back. From there it is either a visit to the house to look at the property or a quote over the phone, depending on the job.
Is the work covered after installation?
Landscape lighting comes with a 24-month workmanship warranty. If something needs attention after that, our service and maintenance visits cover bulb and fixture repair, adjustments and timer checks.
